50 Faces of Emotion for the Sanchez Art Center 50 Paintings in 50 Days Exhibition. Over 60 artists, all showing 50 paintings. this was the event of the year for me! WHEW! Am I glad I am done with painting these little faces. Cannot tell you how much I stressed over this. Painted 7 basic emotions/7 paintings of each... You can tell just from looking at the 'emotions' on these faces that some days felt like a bummer of heaviness was in the air and on the tip of my paintbrush. The painting off to the right, the one that is framed, is a self portrait. It is the last painting I completed in this series. It's me in my calmest meditative mood, so blissed out to have finished this project!

This ART LOVER purchased the little painting he is holding up. He's definitely a funny man! To say the very least he made my/our evening the GREATEST! I wonder if I could pay him to travel around to all of the art shows I get into. Definitely be worth every penny.....
