I am so fortunate to have been invited to show some of my floral oils at the Art Trails Gallery in Corrick’s and My Daughter the Framer’s on 4th Street here in Santa Rosa, CA. See the announcement below for show specifics. Come out and see fresh new art representing the Spring theme of in Bloom. I am so lucky to have my art in this group show.

Please be mindful of COVID when visiting Art Trails open studios this year. During Art Trails I will have most of my artwork available for viewing outside. Some of my artwork will be inside my studio with all windows open and fans blowing the air out (including the ceiling fan below the skylight). I am requesting that everyone be masked and that you respect my big ask that everyone be vaccinated who visits. I want everyone who comes to see my artwork to fee safe and comfortable. Your kind consideration in helping me reach that goal is much appreciated.Several years ago I was juried into Art Trails for my oil paintings. And, I feel very fortunate for that!! This year my Digital Artwork was also Juried into Art Trails. This year my digital artwork along with my new oil paintings available in my Studio #71, during both Art Trails weekends.... September 18-9 and September 25-26.
I am currently working on a series of small contemporary landscapes. I call the series California Scapes. Here are a couple of examples.
"Fourth of July Rose" is my favorite rose, and this one lives right in my garden. Oil on canvas 30 x 40 Inches. To say the least, this was a fun painting to make!
Of all of my roses, this one is my favorite. I loved it so much that when I found it a Kings Nursery I had to get it as a birthday gift to myself. It was so large that it wouldn't fit in my car, so I borrowed Kings' yard wagon and pushed the rose 10-12 blocks to our home. I love this rose!Flower in progress. 48 x 24 inches. Am loving making this painting. Plan to add a photo of each change if I can figure out how to amend this post. |
