I am currently working on a series of small contemporary landscapes. I call the series California Scapes. Here are a couple of examples.
"Fourth of July Rose" is my favorite rose, and this one lives right in my garden. Oil on canvas 30 x 40 Inches. To say the least, this was a fun painting to make!
Of all of my roses, this one is my favorite. I loved it so much that when I found it a Kings Nursery I had to get it as a birthday gift to myself. It was so large that it wouldn't fit in my car, so I borrowed Kings' yard wagon and pushed the rose 10-12 blocks to our home. I love this rose!Flower in progress. 48 x 24 inches. Am loving making this painting. Plan to add a photo of each change if I can figure out how to amend this post. This Donut is a little faded from the poor lighting when photographing, but you get the idea. Certainly not finished. This painting of trees, shrubs and a farm house off in the distance is also in progress.
This is Strawberry Fields Forever my new oil with cold wax medium painting of strawberries in chocolate fields with river, fields, and Coastal Mountains in background.
